Bio Graphene Solutions (BGS) is a clean-tech manufacturer and supplier of graphene from non-graphite based, 100% organic source materials. Graphene’s applications are wide-ranging with the potential to disrupt numerous verticals; however, traditional graphite-based production methods are hugely cost prohibitive, environmentally taxing, and create batch-to-batch product consistency issues. BGS has a unique and proprietary approach in providing a real nanotechnology solution (biographene) that’s compact, cost-efficient, and highly controllable – enabling the production of different quality grades of graphene material with a greater degree of product consistency. This versatility in product quality allows BGS to better accommodate final product integration for various markets and applications.
Product confidence is one thing… we also understand being a cost-conscious solution is needed to drive adoption… and we’ve built our business model around this belief. Currently, BGS has external product development partners in batteries, thermoplastics, coatings, and thermoset industries, while internally focussing on product development opportunities for the concrete and asphalt industries.
2. Apply our biographene product in environmentally taxing products to foster “greener” business decisions – making a real sustainable difference
As a performance additive, BGS’ biographene can be used to greatly improve concrete’s strength, durability, and elasticity while considerably lowering manufacturing/logistics costs. More specifically, adding our graphene can reduce the amount of cement (which contributes 8% to global CO2 emissions) required in the concrete mix design, and in return, significantly reduce the carbon emission footprint of the concrete material used. BGS’ technology has the potential to change the way the world uses and produces graphene for the use in industrial markets.
